It would be great to be able to move multiple tasks at a time.

Hello Seisei! You can do bulk operations if you select multiple tasks using the Shift key. Learn more in this help center article https://redbooth.com/help/create-manage-tasks/#7

the of most common actions I do is assigning self to task before starting doing the work.

Until today, I had to make two clicks (fortunately, my name was near top of list, and I sympathize those, which names aren't).

Starting today, this is complicated process. It really distracts me from the work now, because I have to focus on *assigning myself to a task*.

I claim this should done similarly to Trello, where I just tap Space for self-assigning, but still can add arbitrary number of teammates to a card.

Existe la posibilidad de crear un public link para las tareas. Lo ideal seria crear un ID de identificación de cada task para tener una mejor trazabilidad de cada una de las tareas.

It would be very helpful for us to be able to set tasks that take a specific length of time (e.g. 1 week) when we'd expect to work on / complete it in that week to then recur in the calendar on an annual basis.

There are tasks we do on an annual basis (the reason we're using Redbooth - to create an Annual Task list for our work) which would be very helpful to be able to have recur each year.

Ideally it would be helpful if we know that something has to be completed the week before a specific date next year if we could then specify the date we want it to recur the following year, instead of just recurring it to the same dates. E.g. We want to create a task that runs the week before our Easter break, which changes year to year and is not always the same date(s).

Thank you for reading!

If and email comes through that includes a task, allow users to forward to a workspace and create a task directly from his/her email- create an email plug in to do so

You can do that today with our convenient Create Tasks From Email workflow: https://redbooth.com/help/create-tasks-from-email/

Let us know how it works for you!

My purpose for this feature request is that I wanted to sync only specific task in my calendar [iCal].

Currently the syncing options are [workspace] [all task/my task].
I want to sync my teams task to my phone's calendar but not everything. Only the major one's. If I sync all task, it's too much clutter.
The only way to do this currently is to create a new workspace and add those specific task, then sync this workspace.
The problem though is I will now have inputted duplicate task. One for the original workspace and the other for this specific workspace meant for syncing calendar. So, it will appear twice in my task list and if the task is completed, I have to check both task and in the report it will appear as two task completed.
It would be nice to link a single task to different workspaces. This would mean that the task becomes unique so whatever status updates, or comments I make on the task will be reflected on all connected workspace.
Another option would be to enable to sync tags. (same with Asana)
This way I can just put tags on those specific task then sync task with those tags on my calendar.

Right now if I want to reference a task while I'm creating or editing a different one, I have to close the one I'm working on, open the other, copy the URL, then go back to my original and paste it.

I would love an autocomplete way to do this, much like the way @ works now to bring up a list of users. Something like #<start typing task name>

Sometimes a team member needs to attach a document to a task that shouldn't be seen by others (like a client), but only the task creator can change the privacy setting. Right now the only way to do this is for the person to create a new task. Super annoying.

Whenever I forward a email to a task in Redbooth, it shows up like a regular comment. Would be very nice to have them somehow marked as "Emails" so we can see that are received form a external source.
