Sometimes you have a task that requires another one to be completed before it can start. It would be great to be able to see those dependencies in Redbooth.
When using subtasks and assigning DUE DATES, the button is immediately next to the "Make a Task" option. On occasion, our team accidentally will "Make a Task" out of a subtask. At this time, there is literally no option to UNDO, CANCEL, ESC, or anything. The option to simply: Stop or Cancel the action is the request.
Since we also can't move a TASK to a SUBTASK or MERGE to a TASK, then the option to UNDO the converting of a Subtask to a "Make a Task" would be a valuable benefit. Thank you.
It would be nice if we could have more options for customizing the background, maybe even add our own picture. Also, it would be nice to have a variety of colors to assign a different color to each task. This makes it easier on eyes for people with ADHD.
It would be great to be able to set the % complete level on tasks.
This would be especially useful for us to see in Timeline view, as we may see that a task is coming up to its due date, but don't know whether it's only 10% done or 90% done... This information is important so that we can better assess whether we may have a problem meeting due dates and milestones and can take corrective action before it's too late!
It would be much easier to overview if tags could have different colors.
If users can choose the color of each tag it would be even better, if not just random different colors (of course each tag would have the same color everywhere).
Basically, same way as Gmail works with tags.
Otherwise, sub-tasks really aren't that helpful.
So the scenario is:
I have a task list with 17 tasks. All of them have due dates and want want to move all of their due dates with just "one click"
First select all tasks (this already works.)
Next click on one due date, and change it to be due 5 business days later.
Once you selected the due date, you should see that all other due dates got moved 5 business days .
FYI I know this can be done with task-list template, but my issue is that it is too late in the project to recreate these tasks from the template because we already have notes, attachments etc.
I can attach files from google drive, dropbox, and so on, but I can't attach files which already exist within Redbooth. My team would really benefit from this.
For example, say a spreadsheet needs reviewed by more than one supervisor or department. At a minimum, 2 tasks will be created. Perhaps it's simple enough to have the 2 supervisors or departments click to go back to the hub task where the spreadsheet was initially uploaded, but it would be most convenient if we could post the same attachment from within Redbooth to the 2 separate tasks instead of attaching the spreadsheet from drive or dropbox 2x. For our purposes the tasks have had greater complexity and attaching a file from Redbooth would have been much faster than hunting for it on someone's desktop or drive.
