When using subtasks and assigning DUE DATES, the button is immediately next to the "Make a Task" option. On occasion, our team accidentally will "Make a Task" out of a subtask. At this time, there is literally no option to UNDO, CANCEL, ESC, or anything. The option to simply: Stop or Cancel the action is the request.
Since we also can't move a TASK to a SUBTASK or MERGE to a TASK, then the option to UNDO the converting of a Subtask to a "Make a Task" would be a valuable benefit. Thank you.
It would be great to be able to set the % complete level on tasks.
This would be especially useful for us to see in Timeline view, as we may see that a task is coming up to its due date, but don't know whether it's only 10% done or 90% done... This information is important so that we can better assess whether we may have a problem meeting due dates and milestones and can take corrective action before it's too late!
It would be nice if we could have more options for customizing the background, maybe even add our own picture. Also, it would be nice to have a variety of colors to assign a different color to each task. This makes it easier on eyes for people with ADHD.
It would be much easier to overview if tags could have different colors.
If users can choose the color of each tag it would be even better, if not just random different colors (of course each tag would have the same color everywhere).
Basically, same way as Gmail works with tags.
I manage multiple projects at a time. So I would like to view all over due tasks to be able to ask for updates from user or see why they are over due.
Hello everybody, I'm glad to tell you that we recently released a new reporting feature called "Task Overview". This new reporting tool allows you to sort all the tasks in Redbooth by "Due date" or "Start date", with this you'll be able to quickly see all the active tasks in any workspace that are overdue.

Otherwise, sub-tasks really aren't that helpful.
For us, often a task in Redbooth will start as an email sent to the inbox, or a conversation. Eg. update the website with our new logo
After discussing and sorting out details, this small task like this would benefit from subtasks added. Eg.
1 - Get new logo in web format
2 - Add to development site
3 - test changes
4 - go live
The only way to do this is right now is to
A) create a new task from a task list template (losing all the discussion on the original task)
B) manually add subtasks to the current task (time consuming if there are 15+ subtasks)
C) copy an existing task which you have set up to be a template (losing all the discussion on the original task)
It would be handy to be able to apply a "task template", which adds subtasks and perhaps description to the existing task. Currently we achieve this by using macros to do this, but it's far from ideal.
