Save multiple attachments at once

Ryan 2 years ago in Feature Requests / Attachments • updated by Alexander 2 years ago 1

Hi,

We would find it useful to be able to save/download multiple files attached to a task comment in one go.

In our office we send tasks that requires the tasked co-worker to attached multiple files when completed, sometimes 10+, typically pfd. At the moment each of these then needs to be saved individually one at a time by the task assigner, and can quite a while.

We can use zipped folders with all the files within but this can be a bit of a process.

Thanks.

Adding "Open All" button to open all attachments images (of a specific comment) in the browser in diffrent tabs in one click

Moishy 3 months ago in Feature Requests / Attachments 0

In the current mode we use the arrows in the popup and switch one by one and open in the browser tab, the "Open All" button should save a lot of valuable time at work when it all opens with a single click (we use this to check out different sketches)

Here is an example:

Thanks.

Offer thumbnail viewing of files in the File Folder display

DJRobbins 1 year ago in Feature Requests / Attachments 0

The recent preview of docs stored in the File folders section of Redbooth is helpful, but it would be even more helpful if RB offered a thumbnail display option of all the files listed within a File Folder -- so that a mini image of the doc/image would be displayed -- similar to the thumbnail view offered in most file directory structures, or image storage solutions.

Choose file location for files attached in tasks/comments

Gabriel Gareso 1 month ago in Feature Requests / Attachments • updated 1 month ago 2

Hi, the way files attached to tasks/comments are thrown into the root folder just makes all the file managing escalate into a mess pretty quickly, and also greatly reduces the usability of this feature (I doubt anyone would go moving file by file after they are added). I guess the solution is quite simple: just give the option to choose the folder where the file should go to before you attach it in the comments section.

Ability to link a Google Team Drive

dbinns 3 months ago in Feature Requests / Attachments • updated by AlicePham 1 month ago 2

My department has a shared Google Team Drive. However, we work with many other departments that we don't want to have access to our Google Team Drive that we'll want to attach a file from and share with them in Redbooth.

Turn Off Attachment Preview

Shanna 1 year ago in Feature Requests / Attachments • updated by TimSchuetz 1 year ago 1

Attachment preview has been buggy, making it difficult to use Conversations when attachments are present in the conversation (they hide the comment box, so new comments must be typed blind--if you can get your cursor in the box before the preview blows it out). Our attachments are typically data files which we do not want to preview, and the previews are slow and make scanning conversations on individual tasks cumbersome.

Can there be a way to turn off the new attachment previews? Or work to not preview Excel files? Previews are the opposite of helpful for data work.

Allow insitu editing of files in Redbooth, not just viewing

AndrewC 2 years ago in Feature Requests / Attachments 0

Our project has an Excel-based project costing sheet that needs to be updated by multiple users. A view-only option as presently seems to be offered is not really workable, as we would have to use another cloud-based service to edit. Could we have the ability at least to "Open With" <application> even if only one user at a time could edit?
