We absolutely love customer feedback here at Redbooth, and we always look forward to hearing from our customers. Our feedback forums are a great place to post your ideas and vote for ones that matter to you.
Please feel free to share your stories and ideas to help us build Redbooth for your needs. While we read everything that you write, we can't always respond. Thank you.
When we archive Task Lists in Redbooth, they are usually related to other Task Lists/projects we've archived previously. It would be helpful to archive these Task Lists together into a "folder" that we can name, to help categorize similar projects/Task Lists together.
The current process of accessing archived projects is 'clunky'. Enabling clients to create/name folders to store archived Task Lists in would make this accessibility easier.
For meeting purposes, would like the Task Overview sort features (Workspaces / Status / Assignees / Created By) to also include the option to sort by "Date". As in Today, This Week, This Month, Past 30 Days, etc.
Epics are typically TaskLists in Redbooth. But then as stories move to backlog we loose the epic info.
We solve this by tagging each task in a tasklist with a specific epic tag, but sometimes we forget or is cumbersome. This should be done automatically by associating a tag to the TaskList.
Task list should be categorised on type i.e. one for adding tasks & other one for status e.g. if I move one task to status list saying 'Testing' or 'Done' it should update the status of the task likewise
Simple version, would be good to be able to assign a task to someone who isn't in the worspace and for them to be able to see only that one task.
Longer version, When you try to create a task from a sub task and assign to a person who isn't in the workspace you get a roadblock. I would like to either be able to assign in that workspace and have them only be able to see their task and not the entire workspace or (worse solution) move the task to a workspace they are in but have it linked to the task in the closed workspace it came from. For instance, we have a management workspace we don't want all employees seeing, however, tasks in there need to be doled out to managers and I would like them to be linked.
Thanks for your feedback. Redbooth already allows you to sort tasks by the user they're assigned to. We only show that as a view and don't change the order of the tasks, so the order your team sees is preserved.
Here's a quick video of the feature:
My team would love to have it easier to make Task List or Workspaces private from Admins. Currently only individual tasks can be set to private but it would be great if there an option to have a entire task list private (even from Admins) or if the feature could be added in the bulk (multiple task selection) edit tasks to set tasks as private (from Admins).
We need the ability to create dependencies between Task Lists. Define task has impact on Development Task
We need the ability to create dependencies between Task Lists. A "Define task" has impact on "Development Task" but for some reason we cannot link the two with dependency link.
