Filter/Customize Dashboard Items

We LOVE that we can now assign subtasks to dates and people. Great change! But, it's been a headache for our dashboards. We've even had to change our process a bit to make it work (some of our people heavily rely on their dashboards), and it's still now working. Can you please create a way to custom filter dashboard to do items? Even to show only tasks or only subtasks instead of both, and give the user the power to choose would be fantastic. We need your help!

Feature sub-tasks on the dashboard overview of due tasks. Is that possible?

Hi, it would be great if we could feature sub-tasks with dates on the dashboard overview of due tasks instead of only the final deadline. This would allow for a quick overview (and sharing) of due tasks instead of having to open each task to see what subtasks there are.

I only see "My tasks" in the dashboard. There should be an option to select "other team members tasks", so I can quickly see what other members are doing across different projects, and what is urgent or due soon.

Allow for start dates to be displayed on the dashboard, not just the Gant Chart

It would be good if the dashboard would display a separate menu which displayed the "start" day of a task. For example, if i create a task that runs from 1st of August (start) to 5th August (finish / Due), all i can see on the dashboard is the Due date in the "Due Soon" tab and no indication of when i need to start teh task. It would be good If there was a seperate tab for "Active" where a task would show the day it starts i.e 1st of August. Perhaps even change "today" to "overdue" and once 6th of August comes round, it will move to "overdue"

The light gray color font used throughout Redbooth is hard to read against the bright white colored background. Could you make the font a darker color so it will stand out more, such as a dark blue? Or make an adjustable option under user preferences?

Filtering tasks in dashboard view

I would like to request the ability to filter my dashboard view. Our office uses the task lists to capture a project’s status—New Request, Pending, Active, Hold, Complete, Graveyard—and for my dashboard view, I would love to be able to filter down to just the “Active” task list.

Ability to manually sort tasks on Dashboard

It would be great if we could manually sort the order of the tasks due by each date.  For example, I'm not saying ALL tasks should be able to be intermingled, but if I wan't to move a task that's on bottom of the TODAY list to the top, I wish we could drag it up like we do within each tasklist itself.

Hello everybody,


The way it is today, I can only see what tasks I have to deliver today, not the ones I should be doing in order to not miss any deadline. I can check that by the workspace page, especially in the Gantt view, but my team misses oportunities because of that. 


How do you people manage that situation?

The "tiled" view in each Workspace does now allow\ for more than one tile (task list) in a column. :(

I wish that the tiled view in Workspaces allowed more than one task list /tile in a column like it's supposed to. Even the view toggle button's icon for the tiled view shows more than one tile per column. It should work like Google Keep.


I can even drag and drop tiles (task lists) around the Workspace but it won't land in a column that already has a list. It almost feels like it was supposed to work this way, but doesn't yet. Perhaps it's coming soon?

flag/star updates in the dashboard

It would be very helpful if I can star important updates in the dashboard, so it is easy to go back and see those tasks for follow up.
